Florida Democrats: MacNamara Jumps From Haridopolos’ Sinking Ship To Rick Scott’s Shipwreck

Continuing his quest to turn his toxic poll numbers around and make the state’s number one priority promoting his ego, Governor Rick Scott today named Professor Stephen R. MacNamara as his new Chief of Staff. Florida Democratic Party spokesman Eric Jotkoff said:

“As Steve MacNamara jumps from Mike Haridopolos’ sinking ship to the shipwreck that is the Rick Scott administration, Floridians will continue rejecting Rick Scott’s extreme Tea Party agenda that has destroyed 100,000 Florida jobs over the past several months.

“The Sunshine State sees that this Governor is focused solely on imposing his extreme Tea Party agenda rather than doing what is right for Florida. Rick Scott simply doesn’t understand what average Floridians are facing during these hard economic times, and he remains completely out of touch with our state.

“Rick Scott can hire the same Republican insiders that even he claimed had taken our state down the wrong path during the campaign, but it won’t bring back the 100,000 jobs he has destroyed as Governor.”
