Bob Graham to Attend State Dems Annual Convention, Joins Sen. Nelson at 2012 Campaign Rally

Tallahassee, FL – The Florida Democratic Party announced today that former Governor and US Senator Bob Graham will attend the Florida Democratic Party “A Legacy of Leadership: A Promise for Tomorrow” 2011 State Convention.

Graham, a long-time fighter for Florida’s working families and founder of Florida’s “Workdays,” will join US Senator Bill Nelson at a campaign rally Saturday evening, October 29, 2011.

“Democrats like Senator Bill Nelson have stood on the side of working families – putting the interest of the people over partisan politics,” said former Governor and US Senator Bob Graham. “I look forward to joining the Senator and state Democrats as we rally in support of his campaign.”

With 29 crucial electoral votes, Florida is the most important swing state in the country. Pulling together, as we did in 2008, Democrats will run a strong grassroots campaign to re-elect President Obama, Senator Nelson and send more Democrats fighting for middle class families to Congress to join our Democratic Delegation. This year’s State Convention will harness Democrats collective enthusiasm and focus on electing Democrats in 2012.
