TALLAHASSEE, FL — Florida Democratic Party Spokeswoman Brannon Jordan today issued the following statement in light of Congressman Connie Mack IV’s dismal attendance record for crucial votes — including a vote he missed today on the GOP House Budget Plan. According to the Washington Post’s “US Congress Votes Database,” Congressman Mack has missed 25 of the last 27 votes.

“Congressman Connie Mack IV may be hitting the red carpet in California, but when it comes to standing up for Florida seniors and Florida’s middle class, he’s nowhere to be found. Today the congressman missed a crucial vote on the United State’s budget —and in fact he has missed 25 of the last 27 votes. Floridians will remember in November.”
