Tallahassee, FL — The Florida Democratic Party today issued the following statement in response to Gov. Rick Scott’s endorsement of Mitt Romney. Gov. Scott is the most unpopular governor in the country.

Background:

After riding a Tea Party wave into office, Governor Rick Scott has staked out extreme positions and spent his first year with his approval rating completely under water. Scott’s rock-bottom approval has earned him the title of most unpopular Governor in the country – beating out stiff competition from extremist GOP Governors in Wisconsin and Ohio.
