“With this ad, we’re making sure every Floridian knows exactly why they can’t trust Rick Scott with four more years” — Executive Director Arceneaux

Today, the Florida Democratic Party announced a new web ad holding Rick Scott accountable for massive fraud that happened under his watch as a CEO, and taxpayer giveaways he’s allowed to happen as governor.

With footage from Rick Scott’s infamous deposition in which he pled the fifth 75 times to avoid incriminating himself, the ad shows Floridians why they cannot trust this governor. The ad concludes, “Medicare fraud. Contracts to contributors. Taking the fifth 75 times. We just can’t trust Rick Scott.”

“Floridians are looking for a governor they can trust to build an economy that works for the middle class. Rick Scott has lost Floridians trust, because he’s spent his whole career failing to look out for the middle class,” said Florida Democratic Party Executive Director Scott Arceneaux.

“His company stole billions from seniors’ health care, and he pled the fifth 75 times to avoid incriminating himself. With this ad, we’re making sure every Floridian knows exactly why they can’t trust Rick Scott with four more years,” added Arceneaux.
