Today, the Florida Democratic Party released the following statement congratulating David Silvers for qualifying in House District 89:

“I want to extend my congratulations to David Silvers for qualifying to challenge Bill Hager, a lobbyist and puppet of the insurance industry,” said FDP Chair Allison Tant. “Silvers will bring his small business knowhow to the Florida Legislature in order to fight for Florida’s middle class.” 

“It is an honor to put my name before the voters of Florida’s 89^th House District in Palm Beach this November,” said David Silvers. “I am in this race to add a voice for the middle class in the Florida Legislature. For too long, wealthy special interests and broken Tallahassee politics have held our state and our district back, and it’s time for a change.”
