In response to last night’s federal court ruling ensuring that voters who cast ballots with mismatched signatures are given the opportunity to resolve the issue, FDP Chair Allison Tant issued the following statement: 

“We thank the court for again making the right decision to protect everyone’s right to vote. Voting by mail has always been a safe and convenient way for Floridians to vote and now everyone can return their ballots by mail secure in the knowledge that it will be counted. While we wish it had not taken a lawsuit, this ruling is a great step forward for Florida’s democratic process.”
