Florida Democratic Party Holds Voter Registration Drives to Stop Rick Scott

In the days leading up to Rick Scott’s likely U.S. Senate announcement, Democratic voters across the state are mobilizing to stop him. On Saturday several Democratic Club’s held voter registration drives and canvasses, kicking off a series of events to #StopScott.

“Floridians are mobilizing against Rick Scott – because they know what another 6 years of his leadership would look like: more tax cuts for the wealthy, an economy that only works for the top 1% and the death of public education.” said FDP Chair Terrie Rizzo.

“We are prepared, energized and more motivated than ever to elect leaders that reflect the values of hard working Florida Families.”

The Counties that held #StopScott events on Saturday include:

Seminole County 

Palm Beach County

Okaloosa County

Miami-Dade County

Manatee County

Sarasota County

These events will kick off a series of events happening across the state in the coming weeks to mobilize voters ahead of the midterm elections.
