Are You There Ron? It’s Me, Florida
Has anyone seen Ron DeSantis?
The Republican gubernatorial nominee once promised to start the general election by laying out his policies and vision for Florida.
Instead, he’s disappeared.
.@RonDeSantisFL has known for more than a month he would be nominee. 165K is a poor showing. He should have rolled out his LG pick today, too.
He’s no longer running for president of the local 9/12 club. https://t.co/XTE2VSE3Lo

Once again, DeSantis today appears to be doing no public events or media interviews — and raising very little money. As the Naples Daily News’ Ana Ceballos noted last night, “DeSantis has raised a total of $165,000 since Election Night last week, according to numbers updated. By comparison, @AndrewGillum’s PAC has raised $2.3 million in same time frame.” Florida Politics’ Peter Schorsch, piled on, tweeting that the fundraising numbers were “a poor showing” and DeSantis needs to realize “he’s no longer running for president of the local 9/12 club.”
