The Florida Democratic Party will kick off National Voter Registration Day with an army of hundreds of volunteers and party organizers registering Floridians to vote all across the Sunshine State.
National Voter Registration Day is September 24. For the occasion, the Florida Democratic Party is planning to register over 1,000 voters in a day. The Florida Democratic Party has planned dozens of events across the state to achieve this goal.
Terrie Rizzo, chair of the Florida Democratic Party, stated:
“For National Voter Registration Day, we are going to be out on the streets talking to Floridians and asking them to register to vote. We know that the health of our democracy is at stake, and one important way to heal our democracy is expanding access to voting and increasing voter participation.”
