FDP Statement Condemning Recent Rise in Antisemitism
Florida Democratic Party Chair Manny Diaz released the following statement condemning the recent rise in antisemitism.
“The Florida Democratic Party stands against antisemitism in all its forms and condemns in the strongest terms the recent rise in antisemitic attacks in Florida, the United States, and across the globe. No one should suffer intimidation because of who they are. Verbal and physical assaults against individual Jews, against the Jewish community as an ethnicity, and against Jewish institutions and religious facilities are abhorrent and must stop. Attacking the Jewish community because of Judaism’s ties to Israel, including condemnations from people who have themselves suffered from bigotry, racism, and hatred, must also stop. We must not legitimize the prejudices of those that seek to marginalize us all. The Florida Democratic Party will continue to stand with the Jewish people, and do everything in its power to combat hatred, bigotry, and antisemitism.”
