Today, on the same day Florida’s abortion ban goes into effect, Rick Scott doubled down on his support for the ban and went even further as he pledged to sign “any anti-abortion bill.”
“On the same day Florida’s abortion ban goes into effect, Rick Scott committed to signing ‘any anti-abortion, bill,’ – making it clear that he will stop at nothing to rip away Floridians’ reproductive rights,” said FDP spokesperson Alex Wood. “Florida women are now living under one of the most extreme abortion bans in the country, but Scott wants to go even further. In November, Floridians will reject Scott’s extreme anti-abortion agenda.”
