Following the swearing-in of Governor Ron DeSantis Tuesday, FDP Chair Terrie Rizzo called on DeSantis to work across the aisle:

“It is critical that Governor Ron DeSantis begin his term by making it a priority to represent and stand for all Floridians, not just the ones who voted for him.

“We cannot afford to continue on the track that Florida has been on for 8 years with Rick Scott. DeSantis must work across the aisle to address the critical issues facing Florida’s families – from healthcare, to our environment, to our public schools.

“We look forward to holding Governor DeSantis accountable for his words and his actions in the next four years.”
