FDP Chair Terrie Rizzo released the following statement calling on Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio to vote for the clean CR Thursday to put and end to the shutdown and ensure thousands of Floridians get paid:

“Enough is enough — Florida Democrats have voted to re-open the Federal Government and to fund common sense border security several times. It’s been 34 days that federal workers have gone without pay and it is time that Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott put Floridians first — and vote for a clean CR. Rubio and Scott have the opportunity to show that they will put their duty to their constituents over their blind allegiance to Trump by voting for this CR.”
