FDP Chair Terrie Rizzo released the following statement after the official pardon of Groveland 4:

“After years of injustice — today is a day that is long overdue for the Groveland Four and their families. The pardoning of these four would not have been possible without the persistence and fight from our Democratic leadership, Minority Leaders Senator Audrey Gibson and Representative Kionne McGhee, Commissioner Nikki Fried, and Representative Bobby DuBose and Senator Gary Farmer, who sponsored the legislation for the pardon.”
