Following the release of transcripts from Trump’s call with Ukraine, Florida Democratic Party Chair Terrie Rizzo reaffirmed her support for an impeachment inquiry, releasing the following statement:

“The transcript released today clearly shows a president that wants a foreign power to intervene in our elections — a violation of our most fundamental principles. We cannot allow a sitting president to abuse the office in this way, for if a president were to succeed in such a plot, we would no longer be a democracy.”
