One-Year After Hurricane Michael the Panhandle Deserves Better
Today makes one-year since Hurricane Michael made landfall in Northwest Florida. Terrie Rizzo, chair of the Florida Democratic Party issued the following statement:
"One year after Hurricane Michael, Floridians are still waiting for relief and help. Today we tell our neighbors in the Panhandle we have not forgotten them, and reaffirm our commitment to helping them as they continue to recover. Today we also call on Governor Ron DeSantis and Jimmy Patronis to take action for those who are still waiting for claims, and waiting to rebuild. They deserve better."
