The Public Has A Right To Know: DeSantis Must Disclose Which Counties Were Hacked

Governor Ron DeSantis held a press conference today, where he acknowledged that Russians hacked Florida Supervisors of Elections, but refused to disclose which counties in the state were hacked –– because he signed a nondisclosure agreement with Donald Trump’s administration.

Terrie Rizzo, chair of the Florida Democratic Party, stated:

“Florida voters deserve to know the truth about Russian hackers accessing Florida election information. The governor’s claim that he signed a nondisclosure agreement with Donald Trump’s administration is a violation of the public’s trust. The people of Florida have a right to know what happened.”
