Connie Mack begins the money chase

Rep. Connie Mack hasn’t formally said he’s running for Senate but he’s doing what may be the more important work right now: Raising money and reaching out to potential donors and supporters.

The Fort Myers Republican had a fundraiser Tuesday morning in Tallahassee. (An invite made sure to note the presence of Senate President Mike Haridopolos) And he’s been working the phone all week, sources say. His goal is to have a quarter equal to Adam Hasner and George LeMieux.
