If You Like Rick Scott, You'll Love Scott Plakon

If You Like Rick Scott, You’ll Love Scott Plakon.

Both Rick Scott and Scott Plakon say they care about education, but all they really care about is putting corporate special interests ahead of Florida’s middle class families.

At Scott’s direction, Plakon voted to slash millions in k-12 funding, cut higher education by $300 million, provide zero dollars for public school construction and raise tuition on Florida’s students. In fact, the Tampa Bay Times called the Scott-Plakon budget “a study in pork-barrel spending, reckless policy and a shortchanged future.”

When a politician says one thing – but does the exact opposite like Scott Plakon and Rick Scott — it’s hard to trust them with Florida’s future.
