Tallahassee, FL — Today, FDP Chair Allison Tant made the following statement to mark Labor Day: 

“Today, we honor hardworking Americans everywhere who labor on behalf of their families and their country. Let us also recognize the many contributions the labor movement has made to this country, contributions all of us too often take for granted. The fight for fair pay for an honest day’s work, benefits, and better working conditions was carried out by millions of union members — today, we recognize all they have achieved for our country, and commit to stand by them in the years to come.”
