Tallahassee, FL — Yesterday, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that she will intervene in a lawsuit filed last week to overturn Florida’s ban on gay marriage. Just as Bondi postponed an execution for a fundraiser, again she demonstrates her desire to put politics above Florida families. 

“Meddling with the legal process to prevent two people who love each other from getting married shows just how out-of-touch Pam Bondi really is. Florida is tired of political games.” said FDP Chair, Allison Tant.

“As someone who got married last year and was forced to travel to another state, it pains me that our attorney general is ready to lead the charge for the state to discriminate against a growing population of Floridians,” said FDP Political Director Christian Ulvert.
