Senator Gaetz on the hanging of his official portrait:  

“Each of us can be proud of what we have done because of the culture we have developed in this Senate, no one has been left out.” 

Senator Gaetz on medical marijuana: 

“The strategy is to pass a good bill that helps as many people as we possibly can help. I would like to cure more aliments than just children with incurable epilepsy.” 

Senator Gaetz on expanding access to health care: 

No way, no how. He killed a bipartisan proposal by Senators Darren Soto and Rene Garcia to expand Medicaid before it even got a vote.
