Today, Florida Democratic Party released the following statement congratulating Judithanne McLauchlan for qualifying in Florida Senate District 22: 

“Judithanne, like most Floridians, knows that Tallahassee has its priorities all wrong — the special interests come first while the middle class is left with table scraps,” said FDP Chair Allison Tant. “As a state senator, she’ll put education first and fight for her community every day. Her values are the values of people in Tampa Bay — strong public schools, protections for homeowners, and a thriving middle class.” 

“I’m a working mom, so I know how difficult it can be to make ends meet and to raise your family,” said Judithanne McLauchlan. “Middle class families should be able to afford to stay and to have the opportunities to succeed in Tampa Bay. They should be able to rely on quality public schools. That’s why I’m running for State Senate.”
