A judge has ordered the release of information on Rick Scott’s secret private email accounts, and Floridians are waiting to see what the court finds out. Rick Scott has made it clear that he will never be open and honest with the public, so finding out how Rick Scott operates in private when he’s not pleading the fifth offers Floridians an insight to their governor they’ve never had before.

So, given this rare opportunity to actually find out what Rick Scott really thinks about the issues facing Florida, why not email the governor at his secret email addresses? He can be reached at [email protected] or [email protected].

Maybe Floridians could get an answer to some of these questions: 

1) Rick Scott campaigned on a promise to make “sure the citizens of our state have access to the information they need to hold their state government accountable.” Yet as soon as he took office, an FDLE investigation revealed that he had deleted thousands of emails from his gubernatorial transition. Why should Floridians trust this governor?  

2) What lobbyists and Tallahassee insiders is Rick Scott corresponding with on these secret personal email accounts? 

3) Why did Rick Scott set up Sunburst, only to undermine all transparency efforts for over three years? Was this just a meaningless P.R. stunt?

So go ahead…email Rick Scott. Who knows what he’ll say?
