CLAIM: Rick Scott says he’s a problem solver, not a scientist.

FACTS: Rick Scott still refuses to address the problem of climate change and won’t even acknowledge its existence. Scott begrudgingly met with climate change scientists earlier this year only to walk out at the end of the meeting andoffer no public comment on whether or not he had learned anything or was persuaded. He claims to want solutions (to a problem he won’t even acknowledge), yet refuses to take any action when presented with them.  

RECLAMO: Rick Scott dice que él resuelve problemas, que no es un científico.

HECHOS: Rick Scott todavía se rehúsa a atender el problema del cambio climático y ni siquiera reconocerá su existencia. Scott se reunió de mala gana con científicos especialistas del cambio climático a principios de este año para salir al final de la reunión sin ofrecer ningún comentario público acerca de si había o no aprendido algo o si había sido persuadido. Él asegura que desea soluciones (a un problema que ni siquiera reconoce), y aún así se rehúsa a tomar ninguna acción cuando se le presentan las mismas.
