Today, in response to Richard Corcoran’s call to reform Tallahassee, Florida Democratic Party spokesman Max Steele issued the following statement:

“The first item on Richard Corcoran’s reform agenda should be updating the dictionary to include his photo next to the word ‘hypocrite.’ Corcoran has lived large for years on the dime of lobbyists and special interests as a staffer, failed candidate, political operative, and elected official. It’s hard to think of someone who has benefitted more from the very process he now self-righteously bemoans than career Tallahassee insider Richard Corcoran.

“The only thing left for Corcoran to add to his message of reforming Tallahassee is the punchline.”
