Statement on Senator Sanders’ Endorsement of Secretary Clinton

Today, in response to Senator Sanders’ endorsement of Secretary Clinton for President of the United States, FDP Chair Allison Tant issued the following statement:  

“I want to extend my thanks and appreciation to Senator Sanders for his incredible grassroots campaign that engaged millions of Americans in the political process for the first time. After a hard-fought campaign, Democrats stand united to defeat Donald Trump and work to build an economy that works for everyone — not just those at the top. Florida Democrats are fired up and ready to deliver the Sunshine State to the Democratic presidential nominee for the third time in a row, and we look forward to building on President Obama’s historic legacy of progress.”
