Today, ahead of Rick Scott’s remarks to the Republican National Convention, Florida Democratic Party Chair Allison Tant made the following statement: 

“It’s truly shameful that the Governor of one of the most diverse states in the nation has no problem with Trump’s bigoted policies, racist attacks, and anti-Semitic tweets. While it’s understandable that Scott would be enamored with a fellow fraudster, Trump’s policies would devastate our economy, diminish our standing in the world, and make Florida less safe. Trump lacks the judgement, temperament, and stability to be President of the United States.”
