Today, in response to Donald Trump’s endorsement of Marco Rubio, FDP spokesman Max Steele issued the following statement: 

“Marco Rubio said Donald Trump was a ‘con artist’ that could not be trusted with nuclear weapons. Then he supported him. Donald Trump said Marco Rubio is ‘a total lightweight who I wouldn’t hire to run one of my smaller companies.’ Then he supported him.

“It’s clear that both Trump and Rubio cannot be trusted to say what they mean and mean what they say. They’re both shameless opportunists peddling fear and sowing division in an attempt to win an election. On November 8th, Floridians will hold them both accountable.”
