President Obama Slams Rubio’s Spineless Opportunism

Yesterday, President Obama slammed Marco Rubio’s blatant opportunism and spineless support of Donald Trump at a campaign rally for Hillary Clinton and Patrick Murphy in Rubio’s hometown of Miami. As the President said, Floridians deserve better than a self-interested Senator who “will say anything, do anything, pretend to be anybody, just to get elected.”

That’s the sign of somebody who will say anything, do anything, pretend to be anybody, just to get elected. And you know what?  If you’re willing to be anybody just to be somebody, then you don’t have the leadership that Florida needs in the U.S. Senate. … That’s why you’ve got to vote for Patrick Murphy.
