Florida Democratic Party Statement on Ongoing Hollywood Hills Tragedy

Florida Democratic Party Chair, Stephen Bittel issues the following statement following the  death of the 12th victim  from the Hollywood Hills Rehabilitation Center.

 

“Today marks the tragic death of a 12th patient of the Hollywood Hills Rehabilitation Center. Governor Scott and the industry lobbyists who support him continue to point fingers and destroy public records that would give insight into what happened so we can prevent it from happening again and deliver justice to the families of the victims. We stand with independent observers and seniors advocates who condemn the ongoing cover-up and call for full transparency including unredacted reports of all senior homes as well as voicemails and transcripts between Governor Scott’s office and the Hollywood Hills nursing home and its lobbyists.”
