Florida Democratic Party Announces Voter Registration Drives to Stop Rick Scott

Ahead of Rick Scott’s likely U.S. Senate announcement Monday, Democratic voters across the state are mobilizing to stop him. This Saturday DEC’s will hold several events that will kick-off a series of voter registration drives happening in the coming months. 

“We know what is at stake with a Rick Scott Senate candidacy, and we will be working hard everyday to stop him, and plan to talk to voters face-to-face, and remind them of his record,” said FDP Chair Terrie Rizzo.

The Counties holding #StopScott events on Saturday include:

Seminole County 

Palm Beach County

Okaloosa County

Manatee County

Sarasota County

“Our clubs and progressive groups are organized, energized and working to elect Democrats up and down the ballot who reflect their values. Floridians can’t afford another 6-years of Scott’s failed policies.”

These events follow a #VoteThemOut Day of Action held on March 10th, where FDP clubs and committees held over 30 events across the state.
