Today, FDP Hispanic Communications Director, Luisana Pérez released the following statement after Donald Trump lied on a tweet about the money assigned to Puerto Rico after Hurricane María:

“As if it wasn’t enough with all the trauma that Puerto Rico has experienced after Hurricane Maria, Donald Trump continues to lie about the money that was appropriated to the island. The president should be reminded that Puerto Rico not only did not receive all the money assigned but that the recovery of the island was slow due to the inefficiency of his administration. President Trump should take the necessary precautions to ensure that our fellow Americans are prepared for the threat of a new hurricane.”

Wow! Yet another big storm heading to Puerto Rico. Will it ever end? Congress approved 92 Billion Dollars for Puerto Rico last year, an all time record of its kind for “anywhere.”
