Terrie Rizzo, chair of the Florida Democratic Party, issued the following statement on the 18th anniversary of September 11th:

“Today is a day we remember heroes. 18 years ago, emergency responders saw thousands in danger and without hesitation rushed in to save as many lives as possible, even if it meant losing their own. In the aftermath of those horrific events on 9/11, the United States came together as a nation to mourn and to honor those we had lost. Today we remember the victims of September 11th and honor their heroism.”
