In light of Governor DeSantis’s admitting he had a personal relationship with Lev Parnas, the Florida Democratic Party submitted a public records request to Governor DeSantis to obtain any communication he had with Parnas, Igor Fruman, their shell company Global Energy Producers, and Rudy Giuliani.

DeSantis also said Parnas was “viewed as one of the top supporters of the president in Florida.” Given their relationship and his connection the president the FDP filed the records request to learn more about their correspondence after DeSantis’ election.

“There are still a lot of questions DeSantis has yet to answer regarding his relationship with these men – and what was asked of him by Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman for the money he received,” said FDP Chair Terrie Rizzo. “Floridians deserve to know if their governor is compromised in any way to these shady individuals.”
