Today, the Florida Democratic Party Chair, Terrie Rizzo, released the following statement in solidarity with Puerto Ricans affected by recent earthquakes:

“Our thoughts today are with our fellow Americans who are facing the consequences of another natural disaster. Our Democratic leaders in Florida are working very closely with Puerto Rican officials to help with the recovery efforts. While we continue monitoring the situation on the island, we must make sure that aid is being delivered on time and that the disastrous errors made by the Trump administration after Hurricane Maria costing thousands of human lives are not repeated.”
