One week after President Trump’s administration misspelled Mayor Carlos Gimenez’ name, spelling it G-I-M-I-N-I-Z, the Mayor submits paperwork to launch his campaign for Congress, using the exact same misspelling.

Juan Peñalosa, Executive Director of the Florida Democratic Party issued a statement:

“If you are a loyal soldier to the Caudillo, you do what he says. If Caudillo Trump spells your name wrong, you change the spelling of your name to match. I guess Mayor Gimenez (Giminiz?) is loyal to the Caudillo.”
