The Florida Democratic Party today posted a staff video to its Instagram and Facebook sites thanking nurses for their selfless service during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Nurses have risked their lives to provide care to patients during this difficult time, and often without essential personal protective equipment. Over 90,000 health workers are believed to have been infected with COVID-19 worldwide and over 260 have died, according to the International Council of Nurses(ICN).

“We salute the nurses and front line workers who are literally risking their lives to take care of COVID-19 patients. They are truly the heroes of this tragic and horrendous pandemic. Without them, the human pain and suffering would be much worse.”
