Marco Rubio skipped today’s Foreign Relations and Appropriations Committee hearings, missing important meetings on funding the Department of Veterans Affairs and nominees for critical ambassador positions, including the ambassador to the United Kingdom.
“Marco Rubio has a long history of refusing to show up for work in favor of promoting himself and his political campaigns. After missing every public committee hearing this week, it’s clear that he’s still putting his self-serving agenda ahead of doing his job,” said Florida Democratic Party spokesperson Grant Fox.
