Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried Celebrates Historic Biden Campaign Early Fundraising Win

Today, the Biden Campaign announced their latest fundraising numbers. Thanks to the support of grassroots donors across the country, President Biden’s campaign has raised over $72 million since April, outpacing their many Republican opponents.

In response, Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried has issued the following statement:

“President Biden’s campaign is winning over grassroots and small-dollar donors at a record pace. These donors are largely teachers, nurses, and retirees — hard-working Americans giving what they can to make sure that America gets four more years of Biden’s economic policies.

“Voters aren’t stupid. They see the clear difference between Joe Biden’s America and Ron DeSantis’s Florida. Because of Ron’s failed economic policies, inflation in Florida is almost double the national average and major insurers are fleeing the state. While Ron’s campaign is obsessed with culture wars, Democrats are laser-focused on building an economy that works for average Americans.

“‘The Free State of Florida’ isn’t free, it’s unaffordable — and if the Florida Men running for president get their way, America will be too. That’s why Florida Democrats will do everything in our power to create a broad, diverse coalition that can send Joe Biden and Kamala Harris back to the White House to finish the job they started.”
